The challenge
Our customer, a globally operating software corporation, wants to identify the best future leaders and prepare them for their upcoming responsibilities. At the same time, the company wants to continuously support the existing management in handling their challenges. The managers should also get the opportunity to try out higher level roles in order to advance their own career plans within the global organization as effectively as possible.
Our solution
The targeted combination of diagnostics and development in a software-supported development center proved to be the best solution to promote the executives. We worked closely with the customer to develop an exercise concept tailored to their exact needs that integrated current issues (e.g. people management in virtual teams) as well as potential future challenges (e.g. the strategic management of cross-border reorganization efforts). Interim feedback and repeated exercises gave participants the opportunity to put what they have learned into practice straightaway and try behavioral alternatives.
