Social commitment

We aim to help people improve their performance and personal satisfaction in a responsible way. Of course, we are dedicated to working for our customers every day, At the same time, we are deeply committed to playing an active role in shaping a responsible society.

At ki.m, acting in a compassionate and sustainable way means creating new prospects for people in difficult situations and life phases – and giving them the opportunity and hope to shape their futures. This is why we support social projects that aim to do the very same.

Since 2002, ki.m has supported LebensWert e.V., an organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for cancer patients. Being diagnosed with cancer changes everything – including one's career, an essential aspect of leading an independent, self-reliant life. Whether returning to work under new circumstances or adapting to a new job, many of those affected feel overwhelmed and lost. ki.m offers free coaching to help those in this phase of life. Read more about it in the article "Zweite Chance nutzen - Krebspatienten finden den Wiedereinstieg in den Beruf " ("Taking advantage of a second chance – cancer patients return to the workplace").

Hatemalo e.V. works to enable disadvantaged children and families in Nepal to establish a self-sufficient existence. The focus is not just on relieving their suffering, but helping them become socially integrated and strong personalities who can shape their own lives on a foundation of freedom and education. ki.m supports this association, which was co-founded by an employee, with regular financial contributions – and even runs the annual Cologne Brückenlauf ("Bridge Race") to collect donations.
