Stages of Mentoring

  1. Initiation and Embedding
    • In the first stage the mentoring process is embedded in the strategic HR landscape. At this point we recommend the involvement of all concerned and the selection of mentors and mentees if necessary using diagnostic instruments . Within the scope of a kick-off meeting we establish trust, transparency and a clear set of goals.
  2. Implementation and Cultivation
    • Apart from tandems meetings between mentor and mentee, the process can be supported through consolidation-workshops and accompanying measures (e.g. Incentive Trainings and Coachings , evenings by the fireplace or other events).
  3. Disengagement and Transfer
    • In the final stage of the mentoring program the sustainable realization of evolved topics is essential. This process can be supported through a final event and follow-ups. The company should consolidate the pool of mentors, evaluate the program and promote it internally.
