How can we shape the world of work in the "new normal"? What does this mean for our work environment? What expectations does Generation Z have? What is the significance of AI and how can we effectively integrate it into our processes? How can we develop human-centered approaches to create a contemporary and future-oriented work environment? The 27th GWPs Conference, entitled On the way to the “New Normal” – Business-psychological design approaches for a modern working world, which we were also guests at this year.
We look back on the conference that took place last week at the ISM in Cologne with renewed energy and inspiration. The opening keynote speech by Prof. Dr. Daniel Thiemann – conference director, professor of business psychology at the ISM, and also a project partner of KI.M – set the stage for in-depth discussions on human-centered design approaches for a modern work environment. Particularly impressive were the keynote speeches by Prof. Dr. Walter Jochmann and Dr. Nico Rose on the challenges and opportunities of remote work, leadership, and dealing with change, as well as the associated emotional aspects.
We also congratulate our Managing Director Prof. Dr. Christian Dries on his re-election as President of the Society for Applied Business Psychology eV
Overall, the conference provided an inspiring platform for the exchange of ideas and experiences in the context of the "new normal" in the world of work. We now return to consulting with new insights and inspiration and look forward to shaping the future successfully together with our clients.
