[:de]An interview with our colleague Freya[:]

[:de]Our new colleague Freya has been supporting us as a Sales Assistant since April 2023 and is completing her dual General Management degree at CBS International Business School in cooperation with KI.M.

Tell us more about yourself – Who are you?

I'm Freya, 20 years old, and studying General Management at Cologne Business School (CBS) with KI.M as a partner company. At KI.M, I'm taking on the role of Sales Assistant and am really looking forward to the many exciting challenges that await me, which will challenge, develop, and inspire me in the most positive way. I live in Bonn and, in my free time, enjoy meeting up with friends, cooking, exercising, and exploring new cafes, no matter which city I'm in!

Don’t be shy – how did you convince us in the interview?

My open and communicative nature has opened many doors for me, but I believe it's my high level of motivation and can-do attitude that have brought me here. I'm confident that with my degree program and KI.M as a partner company, I've chosen exactly the right path for myself. Thanks to my many years of experience in the restaurant industry, I'm also confident and experienced in dealing with customers. I would also consider myself highly resilient.

Mind, heart or courage – which component of KI.M consulting appeals to you most and why?

Even though it is of course the combination of all three aspects that brings me through life successfully, for me the heart is the most important building block!
When it comes to my decisions, it's usually my gut feeling that provides the deciding factor. For example, after my interview, I trusted my gut feeling and chose KI.M as my employer. I'm very happy with this decision, given the extremely pleasant working atmosphere and the high level of professionalism and flexibility demonstrated. As long as you go through life with open eyes and an open heart, you've already won, in my opinion.

Off to the future – What technical gimmick would you invent to make your life easier at work or at home?

Headphones that analyze my emotions and always play exactly the music I want to listen to without even knowing it, or find a podcast that interests me. This would be very useful when driving or studying, for example.

Whether it’s a travel destination, an activity or something else – what’s at the top of your bucket list?

I've become a huge fan of the Greek islands in recent years and would love to explore more of their beautiful places. In general, however, I'm drawn to the entire Mediterranean coast, and I'm looking forward to an Interrail trip after I finish my studies.

Welcome to KI.M, Freya![:]
