[:de]In order to work innovatively, modernly, and efficiently, companies need to be highly willing to change. But what does that mean for us as KI.M and for our everyday work?
In advising our clients, changes and driving forward Change processes since 20 years to our daily challenges, which we naturally also face internally. For seven years now, we have been working in an open-plan office with mobile workstations – centered around our forum. We are now taking this approach and consistently extending it to other spaces, promoting creativity and methodological diversity in our daily work.
Results orientation in the Flexible Office 2.0
In this further development, we have now derived new impulses from our concrete needs and in our “Flexible Office 2.0". We're not concerned with a design or decorative sense; rather, we place greater emphasis on results-oriented work and teamwork within our own team.
For the KI.M team, the first step of the relaunch is the completion of the new “KI.M workshop” and the “Telephone booths" is already fully tangible. The redesign of the customer area will take place in the second phase in the new year.

Our rooms have always been very popular with our customers – not least because the central location for holding meetings, Workshops or Assessment centers With the new room concept, we will also provide our KI.M customers with even more sophisticated technical solutions, making sophisticated video conferences, webinars, remote events, and much more possible. In addition, there will also be rooms whose atmosphere better suits the requirements, because Coaching After all, you don’t need a classic conference table.
Rethinking at all levels
The rethinking of corporate culture is energetically permeating all levels. Management is also consistently involved. It's moving away from individual offices and into shared "Management shared apartment“ – a flexible workspace, open, bright and with a large window front facing Cologne Cathedral.
Overall, our AI.M work reality is evolving in such a way that we can move freely and decide: Do I retreat to a meeting room today, sit with my colleagues at a table group, or use one of the spacious seating areas found throughout the office? Despite all the focus on open spaces and mobility, there are still places to retreat. The doors of the "Telephone booths“ open, where you can retreat in peace for telephone calls or even video coaching sessions, just like in the distraction-free work rooms.

If you want to work out or relax for a moment, you can use the foosball table, get some fresh air on our spacious roof terraces, take part in business yoga, or join the internal sports group.
Short: We're staying on the move; the entire office is evolving even more clearly into a creative workshop, offering more space for diverse needs. The idea is that productive work doesn't require a fixed space, but rather many great opportunities.[:]
